AMM36 is the newest in Lika’s range of kit encoders. It is capable of offering high multiturn resolution in a miniature size. It can be readily integrated into AC servo motors, brushless DC motors and a huge variety of space-critical applications.

AMM36 module comes in a very compact and low profile frameless package that has a diameter of 35 mm / 1.378” and a thickness of 20 mm / 0.787”. It has been carefully designed to fit directly to AC servo motors, brushless DC motors and OEM applications. The support is made of ABS, but it can be metal for special installations, such as applications that can be affected by high temperatures or where outgassing/offgassing conditions to be prevented.
Operation is non-contact, frictionless and bearingless and there are no components subject to wear or fatigue. The module does not require special care for installation and alignment, it is supplied pre-calibrated and the assembly process only take a few seconds. The range of the operating temperature is -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to 212ºF).
AMM36 kit encoder provides digital position feedback information via BiSS C-mode interface. The singleturn resolution is 21 bits (2,097,152 cpr) and the multiturn resolution is up to 40 bits. An additional incremental track further yields Sine/Cosine 1Vpp signals for speed feedback.
AMM36 encoder is ideally suited for direct integration into varied industrial automation systems that require accurate detection of position, speed, and in applications suffering from constricted space.
